Welcome to the SEEMBEET Project Website

Welcome to the website of Smart Electric Energy Management and Buildings Energy Efficiency Technologies (SEEMBEET) project.

SEEMBEET is a bilateral project being pursued by researchers from the Electrical Engineering departments of both Technological Educational Institute of Western Macedonia (TEIWM) and Istanbul Technical University (ITU), focused on advanced energy management in microgrids using building automation technologies. The main objectives of the project are:

    - Integration of a building automation technology into an advanced microgrid energy management system,

    - Development of a virtual test bed for analyzing long term operational behavior of the system and investigation of various scenarios,

    - Analysis of microgrid and LV distribution network interactions.

This website provides detailed information about the project, publications, partners, related links and contacts to the interested individuals.

The project is supported under the framework of the "Bilateral Research and Technology Cooperation Turkey-Greece 2013-2014" organized by "The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK)" and "General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT)".
